This laptop is overall very nice! The spacing on the keys (similar to Macs and Viaos) are a plus.
One thing to note though is that the mouse left click can get a wee bit sticky at times.

It turns out that Ubuntu 11.04 does not like wireless on certain laptops. However, there is a fix lined out on the link. In case of a broken link, here are the instructions (copy and pasted from site):

Solution for the Issue
The following commands will enables wireless till next boot
sudo service network-manager stop
sudo rmmod acer_wmi
sudo modprobe acer_wmi
sudo rfkill unblock all
sudo service network-manager start
After this step the status message in the Network Manager will be "Wireless is disabled"
Now Enable wireless from the Network Manager using the following commands
sudo rmmod -f acer_wmi
Wireless networks will be detected and connected.
To make this change permanent use
sudo su
echo "blacklist acer_wmi" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
exit
Now if everything goes well you will have Wireless enabled on your Thinkpad. Thanks to David John for sending us the solution
Lenovo 10243WU Review by Israel
The first thing that caught my attention is the fact that it doesn't get warm and keeps quiet! other than that I like the design - cool, light and sexy. the speakers are good and the keyboard is friendly. booting is fast, not too much bloatware and just easy to get around with. I would like the ACDC plug to be in the back instead of the side and the DVD door to be hidden and less sensitive when my fingers cross the right side of the body.
