Was on the fence for awhile deciding between the HD 6870 or this card even the HD 6950. Lists showed that this card beat out the 6870 all the time and the 6890 some of the time. Price was a bit less than the 6950, and it was supposed to run cooler and more quiet. Card was smaller by a 1/2 inch over my other card, so no problems with that. Turned the computer on, and was amazed how quite this card was compared to my HD 4890. Installing the latest drivers was a breeze and I was up and running in a few minutes fully. Played a bunch of games like Metro 2033, Crysis, Crysis 2, and Battlefield BC2. Still ran really quiet on all the games and temperature seemed to be pretty cool with no warm air coming out the vent really. Games ran amazing smooth and looked great except for the first Crysis, which could be because my processor is getting slightly dated and that game pretty much puts any set up to it's knees. Crysis 2 ran much smoother than my 4890 and looked great. Same goes for Metro 2033 and Battlefield. Was able to bump those up to max settings with DX11. Now I'm completely set for Battlefield 3 and the Witcher 2 coming up shortly. Was an awesome purchase and this card should last awhile.

I purchased this card as an upgrade from my Nvidia 9800GT. The GT was an EVGA card, and though I had owned a PNY card in the past that had performed well, I still was a bit wary because the overwhelming majority of people buy EVGA. I decided to go with PNY for a change and I am glad I did. The card installed easily and booted with no problems. I downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia's website before the install, and that install went smoothly as well. The card scored a 7.8 in the Windows Experience rating. I'm not a heavy PC gamer, but I upgraded to this card so that I could do some more gaming on my machine, so I will try and update this review when I have more experience in that area. On thing to note is that you have to register the card in the first 90 days to get the lifetime warranty. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
