I have trouble carrying big, rigid baskets, always scraping my knuckles on doorways so I thought this would be nice. I carry laundry to my basement laundry room every morning, clean out pockets, spray stains and sort it into a few bins. I do small loads so this would be a good size for me to carry them up and down the steps. It does work. However, it stays collapsed to the point that it's not very easy to fill up with items and one of the handles fell off when I took it out of the box. I snapped it back on but it falls off frequently. I ended up sticking with a more rigid basket for laundry and using this to store all of my Total Gym accessories in! It sits in the corner of my workout room and I can easily grab an attachment, do my workout and drop it back into the basket, which is help open by the other spare parts. I'm careful not to bang the metal parts around getting them into and out of the basket and it's easy to pick up and move when I clean the floor. The color is nice, too. :-)

This Rubbermaid Flex 'N Carry is adequate. However Home Logic Soft Carry Laundry Basket, seems lighter and more flexible. Additionally it's 1.5 bushel size is larger than Rubbermaid's 1.4 bushel. Only problem, the Soft Carry is hard to find.

Love this basket! Fits nicely in my limited laundry room space, always handy for tossing in towels and other items. The flexible handles are unique and so helpful when you have a small space to maneuver. Plus it helps take weight and strain off hands and wrists. Easy to transport clothes from dryer. (Watch out if you have a cat -- s/he will happily curl up in there for a nap!) Wholeheartedly recommend. Be prepared for a hefty shipping charge, however.
